We are conveniently and strategically based in the City Centre of Leicester at Rutland House, Friar Lane, East Midlands.

We can offer support at a local level by seeing clients at our office in Leicester or alternatively over the telephone and SKYPE Nationally. We are working on expanding our network of therapists so that we are able to offer face-2-face counselling in other areas of the United Kingdom.

Psychoanalysis Therapy
Is about the unconscious defences and resistance, transference and counter transference, free association and interpretation. Considerable emphasis is placed on reactions to boundaries. It is a therapeutic process which patients understand and resolve their problems by increasing awareness of their inner world and its influence over relationships both past and present.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
This approach draws on psychoanalytic as well as cognitive techniques. A structured and focused framework is used to encourage patients to understand the origins of their attitudes and beliefs, and the effect they have on present feelings and behaviour in order that change may occur. Patients are required to question and remodel their basic outlook on life.

Humanistic Therapy
This approach is based on humanism, a system of values and beliefs that emphasizes the better qualities of humankind and people’s abilities to develop their human potential. Humanistic therapy emphasize enhancing clients’ abilities to experience feelings and think and act in harmony with their underlying tendencies to actualise themselves as unique individuals.

Short-term Solution Focused Therapy
This therapy often include contracts of 20-25 sessions and tend to employ active directive methods with an emphasis on accurate assessment, goal setting, homework, rapid formation of therapeutic alliance, confrontation of defences and discouraging of dependency.

Psychological Debriefing
This process is applied in any event which causes disruption to an organisation, creates significant danger or risk and has the potential to traumatically affect individuals within the organisation.
